Origin Knitwear

Origin is an independent British knitwear brand established in 2014 by Alice Liptrot and Ben Taylor. Designing and manufacturing entirely in its own purpose-built factory in Wigston, Leicestershire, the brand places craftsmanship and considered production at the heart of everything it creates. Known for its distinctive use of colour, texture and shape, Origin combines traditional knitting techniques with a contemporary design approach. Working with premium natural fibres, including British wool, lambswool and Geelong wool, each piece is produced in small batches and finished with careful attention to detail, creating characterful, long-lasting knitwear that celebrates British manufacturing and timeless design.
